I am applying for visitor visa for my parents. I am on H1B in USA.

 

I am planning to give them bank statements of last six months as proof of financial resources

 

Apart from bank statements, should I also provide letter from the bank giving following details:

1.  Date account opened
2. Total amount deposited for the past year
3.  Present balance
 4. Average balance last year

 

or are just bank statements sufficient?

They need to apply for a visitor visa with their documents.

 I am inviting my parents to visit USA and I will pay for their trip to USA. They will apply the visa by themselves. When I am paying for their trip, I need to provide them the documents to show that I have sufficient financial resources. That is the reason I needed the clarity if my bank statements are sufficient or should i provide the letter from bank?
