Additional fee imposed on H1

Hi All,

 

I am looking at H1 fee charged and have questions on the same. 

I am curious to know when this new fee imposed on H1 will be charged to employers. Is it before Lottery or after lottery?

 

When i checked in google i got the below breakup :

 

application fee   1500 additional fee   4000 premium processing   1225 attorney fee   2000

The employer has to put a check for the amount in the package. The whole package, including the check, will be returned if the petition isn't selected.

Not all employers are required to pay the new fees, only H1 dependent employers have to pay it.

And the applicant is nor allowed to pay these fees.

Why should it matter to you ? The employer is supposed to pay whatever the fee is
