L1B to H1B COS

Hi,

 

I am working for Employer A on L1B visa and its valid till 2017, Employer B applied H1B with Change of Visa Status, Now my H1B is approved. Now if i want to continue with Employer A, Can i leave US and come back on L1B visa? As my L1B visa is approved till 2017.

 

How soon i have to Leave US? If i have to enter on L1B visa do i need to know my H1B Joining dates?

If your H1B was approved as COS you need to stop working for L1B employer from the day of approval. To work for L1B employer you will need to exit and enter US with a valid L1B visa and I797.
