harinitatnis
Hi, PD June 1 2006, EB2,PD is Current; Case was pre-adjudicated in Nov09, all the interview process is complete with finger printing. We were told by the USCIS interviewer that no more processing is needed just we have to wait till the date becomes current. I received a notice from USCIS saying that to speed up the process they have transferred the case to Texas service center and will inform us when a decision is made. Should I now follow the Texas service center processing dates or when should I expect a GC... Why have they transferred the case?has anybody had the same situation? Link to comment
Attorney_6
All the cases that were sitting at the local offices with non current priority dates were transfered to the Texas Service Center. We wrote about this in the MurthyBulletin, http://www.murthy.com/news/n_aoschg.html. It is basically to have more centralized processing and tracking of demand for visa numbers. There is no need for the cases to be disbursed at all the local offices while waiting for visa numbers. Link to comment
