Now my wife is planning to convert to H4 with EAD. Some of our friends advised that we should wait for few months before applying for EAD after getting H4 approved. Is there any wait time that is required for applying EAD after converting to H4 from H1? Or can she simultaneously apply for both H4 and EAD? Appreciate any help on this. -Jayanth Link to comment

GNH Posted January 6, 2016 Report Share Posted January 6, 2016 It can be filed concurrently but if she gets her H4 COS before she gets the EAD ( which will most likely happen ) she needs to immediately stop working till she gets her H4 EAD Link to comment
