Can my wife sponsor my mom and sister's visitor visa?

Hi Everybody,

 

Can my wife sponsor Visitor's visa for my mom and sister? My mom is a widow, my sister is married with two sons ( 17 yrs and 16 yrs) and my brother in law works in India. We both have green cards. I am a freelance consultant and work for my own company but my wife is a full time employee. We both file taxes jointly. 

 

1. What is the difference between me filing and her filing? 

2. What are the additional documents my wife has to provide?

There is no sponsoring for visitor visas. Your wife can of course pay for their trips.
