newstart
Here is my situation: I have around 18 months of my H1-B remaining. Currently I am on H4 visa. My husband has 4.5 yrs of H1-B remaining. His company has filed for his GC and it is currently in the PERM application stage. I have decided to pursue MBA full time. My questions were regarding what visa H4 or F1 should I be on to pursue my MBA? - If I do it on H4 I do not get to work. Neither do I get OPT. - If I do it on F1, I will get to work. Will I get to use my masters OPT (6 months remaining). However, I have been told that I cannot travel outside USA till I finish my MBA if I do it on F1, as I would need to get the visa stamped and it is likely that it does not get approved. Is this possible? - Will there be any issue for me to go back to H1-B once I am done with my studies be it on H4 or F1? - Will I need to reapply for H1-B in a new quota? - Will there be any issue for me to get added to my husband's GC if I am on H4 or F1?
