SunJune
Hi, My H1-B with the current employer will be expiring in Oct 2016.I haven't got my H1-B stamp as yet. I have been with this employer since I started on H1-B. I am planning to get the H1-B Visa stamp for the first time, but as my H1-B will be expiring this year, will this be any issue? Is it advisable to go to home country or neighboring countries like Canada for the first stamping? I have done my education from US, if that helps in assessing the above question. Any advice will be highly appreciated. Thanks, Link to comment
KumarKP
Every US consulate is the same as they follow standard procedures. If we have all required documents then there should be no issues. You can go to Canada or home country. If it is feasible, better to have it at home country as it is always suggested to go to home country. Link to comment
