desi4stamp
Hi, My parent company split globally and my current work location is under the new company name. I was issued a new i797 under the new company name (everything same as before, just the company name is different now). I want to travel outside the US. The previous H1b visa, under the company's old name, is still valid until the end of next year. Do I require visa stamping on this new I797? My work location, position and the job duties are the same as before. Thanks! Link to comment
Sri999
No Need to go for stamping. You can use your old company visa and new company i-797. I traveled couple of times with this scenario. Even i checked with DHS for clarification. Link to comment
