h1b LCA query

Hi Memebers,

 

I have query.....

 

My h1b started from Oct1st with X amount in LCA.... however, i want to take vacation eg 2 weeks....for which i wont be paid...Will that be issue as my total salary wll be less than LCA for the year?

Is the vacation inside the US or outside?

While in the US, you need to get paid. Outside the US, you don't.

And BTW, decent companies have paid vacations...

its indside US.....are you sure? i have other ppl who are taking unpaid vacation.......only in this case as h1b started this year

so wondering if LCA amount wll get below the filed one..... 

.....but this company only have 6 paid US holidays...not for vacation...

Inside US you cannot be unpaid. You always need to be paid otherwise you are considered out of status. Those other people if they are on H1B status and not being paid during vacation in US are out of status.
