VISA stamping

Hi All,

 

Currently am in H1B visa in US. I have come to US with one employer and stamping in passport is until MAY-16. However recently i moved to another employer and my new petition has been approved till NOV-17.

 

I planned my vacation to india in Feb-16 and will be returning back to US on mid of Mar-16 along with my family.

 

Do i need to go for VISA stamping as I have changed the employer? Some of my friends mentioned that no need to go to stamping as the old petition is valid till MAY-2016 and I just need to carry to petitions while my travel.

 

I want to make sure that if I need to go to stamping with my new employer or not? Please advise as am much confusion and your inputs would be much helpful in planning accordingly.
