lyledcruz
I work for a large consulting firm with a i-797 valid until 2018. The 797 was filed for my employers work location. A few months back I got a project at a client location. An h1b amendment was filed for the client location. However the immigration team did not want to submit the client letter and this resulted in a h1b amendment denial. My job required me to travel every week by flight from my employer location to client location. Once I got the denial I stopped travelling to the client location and continued working from my employers location as per my initial h1b. Can i switch employers at this stage or do I need to wait for the immigration team to refile an h1b amendment for the client location and wait for an approval ? Link to comment
