H1B 6 year clock reset

Hello.

I stayed in US from Oct 1 2007 to May 7 2010 in new H1 filed by employer A. After that I returned to India and Employer B filed H1 under cap exempt in April 2012. I got H1B approved dated July 2012 and I entered US in Apr 2013. Is my 6 year clock reset? Can I stay for 6 years from April 2013?

No, your clock did not reset.

The clock would only reset if you stayed abroad for a year and then an employer filed a new H1 under the quota.
