Will the cooling period reset if I travel on H4 to US for a couple of weeks ?

Hi , 

I had spent 5 years on L1b ( including my extension ) and moved back to India in July 2015 . But My wife has a H1B and she is currently employed . Now , I have a dependent visa ( h4) and I travelled to US for couple of weeks to visit my wife in September 2015. 

My question is : will my cooling period will reset from July to September 2015 since I travelled on dependent visa(H4) or will my cooling period still counts from July 2015  itself ? .

You will need to include those two weeks to your 1 year stay outside US from July 2015.
