Can I travel to India while H1B transfer is in process?? no approved petition on my name

Joined Company B from A on July 12th.

 

H1b transfer was initiated on Jun 12th 2015 with California center under normal process.

 

 

On 10th Sept 2015, prev company has revoked my petition. SO currently I dont have any approved petition on my name.

 

 

I have a family occasion to attend in India. Can I upgrade it to premium and travel to India when it is in process?

 

I have stamping with company A till Sept 2017.

 

what is the risk involved in this?

You can travel. To enter US you need a valid H1B visa and new employer's I797.
