URGENT : I-140 RFE.. Ok to travel out of USA?

Hi All, 

My company applied for my I-140 but last week we got RFE on the application. 

I want to visit India for vacation from December - January time frame. 

Considering current state, my I-140 would be in RFE state or Pending state (if my lawyer reply to RFE soon). 

I have H1 petition valid till 2018 but when I go to India, I need to get new visa stamp (mostly drop box as my previous visa stamping was also H1). 

I had a question that is it ok to travel to India for vacation while my I-140 in Pending or RFE status? Or it can impact my I-140 application in negative way?
