H1B Trasfer post 6 years

Hello,

 

I have completed 6 years on my H1B and had an approved I-140. With the I-140, my H1B was extended until 2017.

 

I then jumped to another company and they promised to file my GC. However, its been 1.5yr with this new company and they have not yet started my GC process.

 

My question is: My H1-B is valid until Oct 2017 and I don't have labor/I140 approved now. Can I jump to another employer?

Yes. If I-140 is valid you will get 3 years. If I-140 is revoked your H1B approval will be till Oct 2017.
