What happens if my current employer cancels my I-140 after I change my job.

Employer-1 applied for my GC back in 2010 and I got I-140 approved, then I stayed with that employer until 2012.

 

Employer-2 applied my GC  and I am waiting for I-140 approval and my attorney confirmed previous date will be ported.

 

I am on my eight year with I-140 extension

 

Questions:

 

 

1) My Company is reducing team, so I am also planning to change job, will there be any problem changing job if employer cancels I-140.

 

2) I just got my H1b renewed until 2019.
