akapoor85 Posted November 2, 2015 Report Share Posted November 2, 2015 I entered USA on J1 fellowship in June 2015, but I am resigning from the current position and moving back to my home country (India). Although I do not have another offer at this time (so cannot transfer my J1) but can I return on another J1 if some institution is ready to sponsor a J1 sometime within next 6 months? I understand that once I resign I will be subject to two year home residency (is there a way to avoid it)? Link to comment
