sudhakar.lankireddy
Hi What should be the answer for the question in DS160 "Have you ever been rejected US visa", if there was a 221G on different employer petition? Your response is much appreciated. Regards Link to comment

pawanismfan
Was your 221G successful or rejected? If rejected then you need to answer as Visa Rejected. If your 221G processing was successful and got a Visa with it, shouldn't be Visa rejected. Link to comment
sudhakar.lankireddy
my earlier 221G was neither rejected nor approved. The petition validity got expired with no communication from consulate. I did not get any explicit denial letter from the consulate. What would be the correct answer in this scenario. Regards Sudhakar Link to comment

sudhakar.lankireddy
Thanks for your update Jairichi. Does this apply for F1 visa as well? While in F1 interview, consulate office put a stamp as "APPLICATION RECEIVED" and return my file back saying "I can't issue a visa now as per US Immigration rules". Link to comment
sudhakar.lankireddy
It happened way back in 2003 Link to comment

Go through with an attorney. Link to comment
