EB 2 NIW and fellowship

Hi everyone!!

I am currently on my 5 th year of working in a Rural Health Clinic and serving the underserved population. I was granted the J1 " FLEX" waiver and am serving the underserved population. I have applied for PERM and have an approved I- 140, but am in the longgg wait line just like few other physicians from India.

I wanted to apply for EB 2 NIW for physicians working for five years in an underserved area and was wondering if I still qualify for the same, due to my " FLEX" J1 Waiver, where I serve the underserved population in a Rural health clinic.

My second question was, if I could still do a fellowship in my own speciality under H1 B visa, if EB 2 NIW is approved next year and as i still wait for my 485 application /AOS for next 2-3 years.
