s_sonune
Hi, I am on GC (4.5 years now) and I should be getting US citizenship in Oct-Dec 2016. Once I become US citizen, I want to move to India for 3-5 years for personal reasons. As I am planning to go to India for long time, I want to sell my property (my primary residence) before leaving which leaves me with no physical/permanent address in USA. In this circumstances what address should I write when I file for US tax return or similar correspondence ? What is the solution for not having any residential address in USA when you are a US citizen? Thanks, S Link to comment
JoeF
You write your foreign address there. There are lots of Americans who live abroad. They all file their US tax returns without a US address. Link to comment
