HI all how is the general trend in Chennai consulate.I have been looking at the forums and i have a appointment at Vancouver but now having second opinion.

Sandman, I was thinking the same and started trying to Canada (Vancouver). But later saw that most of the people who were going there were facing admin processing problem and its taking so long to get clearance. So I have decided to not to plan for a visa in Canada since I don't wanna waste my vacation or waste my money spending useless nights in Canada. Instead I decided and booked a slot in the month of December and I scheduled at Hyderabad consulate. Now even if they do admin processing I don't care, I will be more happy to wait and mean while I visit all my friends and stay and chill at home eating my mom prepared food. Take it a positive sign and just relax. By the way I am going for a one month vacation.

I see 22,23,24,28,29,31 for December.

  and 4,5,6,7,8,11,12,13,18,20,21,22,25,28,29 open for January.
