Interview Waiver Program (in Australia)

I hold an Indian Passport and work in USA. I have a work visit to Australia in December. Can I use the Interview Waiver program in Sydney embassy of USA and get my stamping done from there? 

 

My Employer has not changed since my last stamping (in Bombay) and I have valid 797 until 2017. As per this site : http://www.ustraveldocs.com/au/au-niv-visarenew.asp I am eligible, though I want to understand fully and evaluate any risks involved.

 

Please advise or share your experience.
