nb1979
I am currently on H1b visa through my current employer (“employer A”), which is valid until May 2016. I have an approved I- 140 through employer A. I would be completing 9 years on my H1b visa. Early next year employer A would file for an H1b extension for another 3 years. I would like to know if I switch my job before my H1b expires in May 2016 Whether my new H1b through (“employer B” ) would be valid for 3 years based on my existing I-140 through employer A? Or will it only be valid until May 2016? Link to comment
jairichi
1. If at the time of H1B petition adjudication I140 is valid you will get 3 years. Otherwise till May 2016. Link to comment
