apnn
Hi, I am with company A, PERM filed 6 months back and expecting to be approved in this month. My 6 years period ends on April 10 2016 and have a valid visa till that time. Right now there could be possible layoffs in the company, even in such case I get a chance to stay with company for around 4 months. In this situation, a. can I get a new perm filed with another employer B? b. in a duration of the said 4 months, if my PERM is approved, can I get a 1 year H1 extension and can that H1 visa be transferred to another employer? What could be the best course of action by me so that I can stay here in US? Thanks, apnn Link to comment
jairichi
1. Yes. 2. If PERM was filed within 365 days of your H1B max out period you are eligible for one year extension. Link to comment
