COS - H1 to H4

Hi,

 

My H1 Visa expires in 2 months (6 yrs max out) and my PERM is applied which may not be approved on time and I cannot file an extension as it was applied 4 months back.

I have the following questions:

1. In this case what is the best time to start the COS (H1 to H4)

2. Will I be able to continue to stay in the US once the COS is applied for or should that be approved?

 

Any information in this regard will be appreciated.

2. Yes, with a timely filed COS petition you can stay in US.
