But it says that though my H1B is approved, change of status that I requested was denied!! I was never been to USA til now. There is no need for me to request for change of status, i dont think my employer's attorney might have asked for it. And also approval notice says I have to attend for interview in HYDERABAD consulate, if I want to go to somewhere else, i need to file a I-824 to update consulate on the approved form? I am already in India. never been to USA ( not even on F-1/B-1 or visitors) will it be a problem when I go for stamping? and can i go for stamping to Chennai consulate without filling I-824?
