Confusion with H1B Amendment and Visa Interview India ..

Hi,

 

I got my H1B Extension approved dates 10/2015 to 10/2018 ..But I filed for my amendment as I changed my project location (same client)

 

I have following questions.

 

1.Can I use the current Extension Receipt number also dates for booking the appointment  and update the profile and DS160 once I have the amendment approval?

 

2.As far I know we can submit the DS160 before the Interview date (1-2 days) also ?Is this still valid ?

 

 

Has anyone encountered this situation recently ?Please suggest me
