mtechetal
Hi - I did my bachelor of technology(4yrs) and master of technology(18 months) both in Metallurgical Engineering. However, after completing masters degree I started working on software only. And now I have 14 years of progressive valid experience in IT sector both in India(10 years) and US(4years). The current job duties are totally computer software only and are no way related to metallurgical engineering. Please help me understand on if I will be eligible for EB2 without being questioned/evaluated at the stage of I-140. or Is it safer to take the route of EB3 first and then porting it to EB2. Please suggest/guide me here. Link to comment
rahul412
The minimum req for EB2 is to have master's degree from the field related to GC job. It looks like you doesn't have one, so its EB3. Better to consult an attorney. Link to comment
