Canada PR applied and Tourist visa Extension

Hi,

My husband is Pr holder of Canada. I have come on tourist visa to usa and expiration is on October. I am planning to file for tourist visa extension, we have traveled extensively in these six months and plan do a lot more. The reason I am stating for extension is travel and also waiting for my pr application.

Question is that I have seen at some sites that your visa does not become invalid if you are still waiting for decision and your I-94 expires.

Will I have any problems coming from Canada to USA once my PR is processed because of this.

Has anyone been in a similar situation like me?

Your reasoning will surely lead to denial of your extension request. If you leave after I94 expiry and your extension request denial then that tourist visa becomes invalid. If you leave before a decision is made you are fine.
