GC consular processing

Hi,

 

I have I-140 approved for my self and for dependents -EB3 filing with PD June 2004, I came back to India  5 years back, My H1B expired while I am in India, I dont have AP my I-485 is abandoned coz RFE not answered.

 

Now I would like to file I-824 (consular processing) from India, my employer agreed to continue the case.

 

I have following questions

 

1)Can I file CP for myself now and once I get the GC and after going to US, I will apply CP for my dependents, can that be done or I have to apply for all of us at the same time ? 

 

2)Since my PD is current my attorney is saying that I will get GC in 6 months but my dependents cannot come to US with me for another two years coz of college what is the best solution.
