PERM Start Date

Hi,

 

My Six years of H1-B Visa is going to expire on Feb 2017. And my Employer is going to start my GC process.

 

Some people are telling, my PERM need to filled before one year of my Visa Expire (i.e Before Feb 2016). Otherwise, USCIS won't take/consider my application.

 

Is it True ? Or it can be filled anytime before my Visa Expires (Feb 2017)?

 

Could you please review this and help me on this..

Have you asked them what's the reason for that? Any kind of proof to prove it??

 

PERM can be filed at anytime.
