luck2u
I'm planning to send my son (who is 9 months old) to my home country with my parents who came to USA for visiting purpose. Do I need to give any authorization letter to my parents as my son is travelling with them (in my or my wife absence). If so, pls let me know how does that authorization letter needs to be. Even I'm not sure where does this authorization letter will be asked? Pls advise. Thanks in advance!! Link to comment

luck2u
Below are the docs required to carry by adult passenger when kids are travelling without parents... * an authorization letter signed by you and spouse with notary (sign before the notary) * copy of your and your spouse passports * copy of marriage certificate (if you have) * copy of baby's date of birth certificate Sometimes the airlines staff may not ask about these documents but it's safe to carry otherwise there may be a big mess at the airport asking for these documents in last minute.
