Eligibility category in i765

Hi,

I am on H1B filling out the i765 form applying for EAD. 

 

What should i fill for question "16.Eligibility category? 

I know its ©(26) for H4(dependents).

 

I went through that PDF for 765 instructions "Who may file form 765". But its NOT clear as to what is it for H1B workers?

Same question for me too.  I am on H1B and my spouse is also on H1B. But applying for I-485 with my approved I-140.

 

What should I write for question 16 for me?

For my spouse its c26.

 

In question 18, it will be empty in my form, for my spouse should it be my receipt number from latest current H1B 797A or approved I-140 797?

©(9) is for K-1,K-2 boss. Its for fiancees..

I think it should be C-9 for both isn't it ? I am on H1B, wife on H4 and recently got her EAD.  But I am putting down C-9 for both, please let me know if this is incorrect.

C (26) is specific for H4-EAD, which was added recently in I-765 form. so c (9) is for Adjustment of status, as you both are applying for Adjustment of status.

Hello All

For I-765 which I am currently applying with Adjustment of status what should I check  for my wife I-765. will it be a Initial permission to accept employment or Renewal of my permission as she already applied EAD when she was on H-4 with my I-140
