Traveling to India when H1B got an RFE and OPT expiration date November 2015

Hi guys , please advise with my scenario

I am on OPT and its getting expired by November 15th 2015 ...

I have applied for h1b from employer B, got the RFE last week..

So was it advisable to go to India during this time ?? Any ways I have to leave this country if my RFe not cleared by November 2015..!!! I got to know from friends that my h1 will be cancelled was it right ?? If so should I have to apply for new h1 in 2016 ..

MY husband is on H1B he should go for stamping..

If H1B petition was filed as COS then the COS part of H1B petition will be considered abandoned. Your H1B petition will still be processed. To work on H1B you will need to enter US with a valid H1B visa and I797.
