Medicals for I 485 Adjustment of Status

Can we get the medicals done before applying I 485 Adjustment of Status as per Oct 2015 Visa Bulletin?

Few people are saying even though we submit medicals now, we need to submit again if our priority date takes more than 1 year to become current. I am confused whether to send now or not.

An I -485 is not complete without medicals. It will be rejected if not supplied with I-485 and the rejection package might take a while to come back in the mean while your PD might retrogress.

 

     If your application takes more than 1 year to adjudicate then yes the office looking at your case may request a new medical along with other documentary evidence.

You need to submit Medical records for sure.

I would suggest to submit now and when actual date will become current then once again do the medical.

Anyway.. medical certification had certain timeframe validity.

You need to submit Medical records for sure.

Do  not need to submit medicals with  I-485. They are valid for 1 yr and filers with PD 2009 to 2011 are not expected to get final approval in the next year or so. No  need to waste money doing medicals multiple times.
