And when I get my green card I can switch back to company A. If this is feasible do I néed to get any consent / documents /approval from company A. A quick response will be highly appreciable. redgreenbluee
please consult a lawyer. GC is for future employment so it is possible to work with a different employer (company B) while having another employer's (company A) petition, you will need to work form company A after GC approval. however, it is not feasible to do it without company A's support, you cannot do it without their consent, their document, their support, etc. also, you cannot apply I-485 after LC PERM, the next step is to apply I-140 which is employer's petition for your GC before I-485 can be applied (or apply concurrently).
