roych Posted September 4, 2015 Report Posted September 4, 2015 Hi, My employer filling GC to me, while PERM process Atorny asked my previous employer verification letters stating that my working period and designation signed my Manager on company's letter head. I worked for 2 company's, my 2nd company will give feedback and letter head for me but for my 1st company wont. I have the experience letter of my previous two companies but now I ask for another letter for my 1st company stating that my employment with that company they will not provide and they will not do favour for me. If USCIS enquired about me they(1st company) will not give any information of me. My Questions: 1-> can I provide letter heads is enough 2-> is USCIS enquiry about my 1st company, means whether they call/email to my 1st company to check about my employment ? Please assist me on whether I can put my 1st company experience or not. If I wont mention my 1st company experience in PERM, is that impacts on my H1 because I mentioned 1st company in my H1 Thanking you..
Bhajagovindam Posted September 14, 2015 Report Posted September 14, 2015 I've been told by my attorney under such circumstances: You can provide affidavits from co-workers during your tenure at Company A, that'll work if the company is not willing to give a letter. Present everything truthfully, no need to hide.
gsaneja Posted September 25, 2015 Report Posted September 25, 2015 my 1st employer went under/bankrupt; so i got experience letters from my previous colleagues and filed with perm; waiting approval in few days
