I have a green card but my wife is on EAD as when her date was current but the case did not move and we opened the case with USCIS and finally we got the RFE for Medical to be re-submitted and the date is now retrogressed. In the mean time, her EAD showed 11/7/2015 as the expiry date and I kept on thinking that its Nov 7 2015 based on MM/DD/YYYY format however just now I found out that EAD uses the DD/MM/YYYY format and EAD is already expired in July. I have no clue what to do as my trip to India is very urgent. Also, my wife has H4 also stamped until 2016, can she enter on that while I'm going to use my GC to enter? I'm filing for her extension now but I'm sure I wont get the response by 30th Sep. Can you please help? Has anyone entered using H4 when the spouse was on GC? ~V Link to comment
to_vaib Posted September 7, 2015 Author Report Share Posted September 7, 2015 I think the EAD Expiry Date format is MM/DD/YYYY. So my wife's EAD will be valid when we enter. However we are entering US just 2 days before the EAD expires...would that cause any issues? Link to comment
