Switching Employer while GC is processing

I got I-140 approved for GC processing with Company1. Now i got another offer from Company2. i really like the offer. I wanted to switch. I am not sure what will happen to GC processing.  I am currently running 8th year in USA.

 

Could you please let me know what would happen to GC processing if i switch to company2 has anyone done this. new company "Company2" is ready to process GC after 6 months.

You have make sure that your I140 is not revoked once you leave your current employer.

If you are planning to move to new employer make sure that new employer's H1B petition is approved for 3 years based on approved I-140. About your GC process with current employer you need to check with them whether they will revoke I-140 once you leave them. Do that only after getting new H1B petition approved.
