MyProfile4 Posted August 31, 2015 Report Posted August 31, 2015 Hi, I've my current H1B visa stamp valid till 09/30/2015 and I got my H1B visa extension approved till 09/10/2018. I'm planning to go to Mexico for my H1-B renewal visa stamp in September. Since I have my current H1B visa stamp valid till 09/30/2015, do I need Mexico tourist visa to go to Mexico for stamping before 09/30?
ravi_555 Posted September 1, 2015 Report Posted September 1, 2015 You don't need Mexican visitor visa if you have a valid H1B visa during your visit. (it is recommended to get a visitor visa if you are traveling to Mexico without a valid US visa OR at the very end of your current H1B visa validity. End of September 2015 in your case). If everything goes well with visa interview, it is a 2-3 day process. You should be good without Mexican visa, if you plan your schedule accordingly. All the best.
