john.adi17 Posted August 31, 2015 Report Posted August 31, 2015 Friends, In month of may 2015 i had attended H1-b visa interview at HYD Consulate, india and at end of the interview visa officer asked me to submit couple of documents and then i was not given any 221g slip anything like that. Later after submitting those required documents after one month i got an email from consulate asking me to submit my passport. After submitting my passport in a week i got visa stamped on my passport. So, here my question is i don't see anything like case was cleared on so and so date under annotation on visa stamp. So does that mean i was actually not under 221g ? and Am I eligible for drop box for 2nd H1-b visa when i go for extension? Appreciate your help Thanks.
rahul412 Posted August 31, 2015 Report Posted August 31, 2015 You got your visa, that's it no need to know whether its 221g or not, for drop box eligibility check the consulate website at that time.
jairichi Posted August 31, 2015 Report Posted August 31, 2015 Yes, you will be eligible for dropbox if you fulfill all other requirements.
