notarized finger printing

I am currently in India and need to get police clearance from Singapore where I lived for a few years.

 

But for processing that, Singapore police requires my finger prints from an authorized source.

 

I checked at the local police station in Bangalore and they told me that they cannot give me such simply based on my request ie if Singapore police asked them they would oblige (which is not going to happen).

 

So what other ways can I get an authorized finger printing done?

 

Certified by a notary public?

 

Anybody done anything similar?
