H1-B after F1 - OPT STEM rule

Hi there,

 

I got an H1-B starting October 1st, 2014.

 

My OPT STEM got ended on June 14, 2014, so since my company filed H1-B on April 1, 2014, I got automatic STEM extension.

 

Now, I have heard that OPT STEM extension is getting cancelled and the three rules that came in 2008 are all getting cancelled.

1. Automatic STEM extension for CAP GAP.

2. Apply OPT before degree ends

3. STEM OPT is vacated

 

Will this have any effect on H1-B since I used these two of the above three which are now getting cancelled.
