H1B expired 2011-Can i extend it in CAP quota

Hi All,

 

I have stamped H1B visa in year 2008. It got expired in 2011.

 

I have never used or traveled to US with H1B Visa. I don't have any other Visa as well.

 

My Query is as the 6 year limit is reached. Am i still eligible for CAP quota or can i go for extension by any way.

 

Please clarify.

You guys are cap exempt. Any employer can file a cap exempt H1B petition & after approval you can enter US with a valid H1B visa & I797 & work for employer.
