Question about Salary difference between H1-B and GC filers

Suppose I am working at company A with a Salary of X. The X salary is quite above the average national salary for that role.

 

now I want to move to company B. Company B is sponsoring my GC but will pay me X - 5000 per annum. the X - 5000 is still quite decent money and above national average for that role (as per glassdoor)

 

Do you think it could create any complication?
