Can I travel to India after applying for H4 EAD?

Hi,

 

 

I am planning to travel to india after applying for my H4 EAD.

Also, we are thinking that once my H4 EAD approval is received my husband will carry it with him to India and then we will go for his H1 and my H4 stamping. Please suggest if that is possible.

 

Please also suggest if I should avoid travelling on H4 when applied for H4 EAD and if so why?
