H1b Transfer approved ,Pay check issue

Here is my situation.

 

I work for a company A . I have my H1b transfer approved to a company B.  My start date at company B is 17th August and I am committed to that date.

 

But my Company A is requesting me to support until end of August i.e Aug 31st .  If I agree I will have pay checks overlapping for two weeks from company A and B .  Is that safe thing to do ? will that affect my green card process or future H1b in any way ?

 

 

Please help , its urgent

Why would company B pay you if you are not working for them? You are fine.

I will be working for Company B from Aug 17th . But I will have to do some knowledge transfer for company A till Aug 31st. so for those two weeks I will have pay check from A and B .

 

Are you saying I should be fine and no issues  if I do that

It is ok as long as both H1s are valid.

Applied early july and approved on July 29th.
