h1b and h4 first extension..

H-1B Regular Processing

My visa status : expire on Sep 27th 2011.

Applied for first extension both my spouse on (h4) and me on H1b.

My Question:

1. How long it takes to get approve H1b -ext and I140,..?

2. My spouse want to travel to india in sep 2011, which before I94 expires...sep 27th.. will this affect my h1/h4 extension and visa renewal ..? if she visiting to home country.

3. if it approve will they issue New i94 for both ..?

4. In order to get the approval/denied notice do i need to up to premium process..?

5. Any how am not traveling with her..fyi... but will it affect my extension.

6. Also i have applied for I140 on June 12th ..will it affect h1 extension..?

7. If my spouse is visiting india ..will it affect I140 approval..?

8. while returning will it cause any problem..?

Please clarify do the needful.
